Host Connection Program Guide and Reference
3-32
The operating system has direct access to any customer SNA network. The choice of
connectivity is dependent on the system environment and geographical location. These
variables affect response time for an application:
• Model types
• Types of host applications and response time requirements
• Number of concurrent users during peak periods
• Other applications running concurrently with HCON on the local system
The HCON Connectivity figure shows the connectivity capability of the HCON 3270
emulation program.
